Do it Yourself: Puffy Lips Pink News Beauty Tutorials

Dermal fillers can be expensive, and the Kylie Jenner challenge isn’t good for anyone. What is a safe and affordable way to create a puffy lip? Using several makeup trips, today’s NV Beauty Blog will be providing you with step by step instructions to creating the perfect, puffy lips.

What you’ll need:

• Cinnamon & Olive Oil
• Toothbrush
• Lip liner, dark shade & lighter shade
• Liquid Lipstick or lip gloss
• Light coloured lip stick or concealer
• Bronzer or dark contour colour
• Highlighter

• 1 Small Makeup brush with thin end (8- 11)

Step 1: Exfoliate the lips Using your toothbrush, brush your lips to get rid of any dead skin. Mix the cinnamon and olive oil to create a paste. Apply the paste to your lip for 1 minute. Remove with paper towel. Why? Cinnamon will begin to create a puffy look on your lips.

Step 2: Over line the lips Take the light shade lip liner and begin lining your lips. Overline on your cupids bow and underneath your lip. Once your lips look like the shape you want, go over the lips with the darker shade of lip liner. Feather the color inward. Why? Feathering the lip liner will make it look more blended

Step 3: Fill in lips

Fill in the lips with a liquid lipstick of lip gloss of choice. Apply a dab of concealer or light-coloured lipstick to the center of the lip & blend. Apply one last layer of gloss to make the lips really pop! Why? Applying two different shades of colour create the appearance of more depth

Step 4: Highlight and Contour

Using a small makeup brush, apply a small amount of highlighter on top of your cupids bow. Apply a darker colour under the bottom of your lip. Why? Contouring ads even more depth
